This weekend in Johannesburg (Sat 11 December) is this unique event by Emalyth, focusing not only on music, but also on a diversity of ‘alternative’ arts produced by members of the local community.  Be sure to make a turn – or better – make a day of it, if you are living or visiting that part of the country.

What’s going down?

Emalyth opens the doors of The Black Dahlia in Boksburg at 14:00 to an exhibition of arts created by a number of local alternative artists such as: Naquiska Jacobs, Antony O’Moore, Marika Slabbert, Rowan Eva, Johan Freyer, Nicole Booyse amidst others.

From After six in the evening, things will get more rowdy as a number of bands take to the stage… All Of Eternity, Maximum Carnage, Displeased Disfigurement, Bleeding Spawn, Bile Of Man, Tranquil, Necromanteion and Brutalisme.

There will be merch on sale, Freebie vouchers to giveaway, and every other manner of mayhem that has come to be expected of Emalyth events.  Dont miss it!  Entrance is R65.
