Pretoria, South Africa: Deadline showed us the artwork for its Black Wolf City album in July and released its ‘Hostage Demonica‘ single in September. Today, Black Wolf City is here in its old school heavy metal entirety and is ready for your ears.
Black Wolf City official album launch
Awarded ‘Best Newcomer‘ at the SAMMA 2017, Deadline knows no bounds in living up to this hard-earned status. Today, the band’s debut album drops in glorious fashion with widespread online release, as well as in hard copy format.
“I cannot believe that it took me 38 years to finally have a cd out! After having given up on playing in bands for 12 years, I am glad I was talked into joining/co-starting Gunship in 2012; which eventually led to Deadline and finally this release. It’s a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll”. ~ Jessy Switchblade (vocals, Deadline)
Tonight, Deadline kicks off a string of live performances in support of the album release and which visits South Africa’s main urban centers. The action begins close to home in Centurion at the Railways Cafe, and then sees the band travel to Durban and Cape Town, plus more shows in it’s home province.br>
