Middelburg, South Africa: begun in July of 2016, the founding members of the band brought together their influences of Death Metal, Grindcore and Porngrind to create Resurrection of Fetal Remains. Two years later, the “Lords of Gore” have launched the band’s debut release; which simply describes themselves as: Lords of Gore.
Lords of Gore
Resurrection Of Fetal Remains performed a live launch last Saturday at Sundowners in Alberton, to celebrate Lords Of Gore becoming immediately available on major online platforms. It seems that physical copies will only be available as a second print batch, at which point will be available for shipping via Bandcamp.
“After a tremendously successful launch of our EP we have a few things to say. First of all, we want to thank all of the people that joined us on that special day. We will continue to intrigue everyone with our music and we are excited to announce that we have already started working on some new tracks for you all; still explicit and juicy, just how you like it. Tracking for the official album will also commence in a few months. From here on out it’s more shows and more opportunities, and we are so grateful for all our fans; the new ones and the ones that have
been with us from the beginning. We would not be where we are if it wasn’t for all of your support.” ~ Theo Durand (vocals, Resurrection of Fetal Remains)
With the milestone of a release now achieved, Theo and his band mates grow hungry for the road and threaten visits to other SA cities in the near future.
