Krank’d Up 2018: SikTh, co-headliner announced

SikTh, Krank'd Up 2018

Johannesburg, South Africa: Still racing in the wake of it’s glorious The Future in Whose Eyes? album released in 2017, SikTh is conquering new territories this year. Local promoter Turning Tricks Entertainment just announced that South Africa is on that list for the UK progressive metal band, now scheduled to co-headline the annual Krank’d Up Festival in September 2018.

Sikth: a new global conquest

Celebrated for frenzied riffing, vocal ingenuity and kaleidoscopic lunacy, SikTh broke hiatus in 2014 and delivered its third full length album, The Future In Whose Eyes?, only last year; thus returning to the global progressive metal stage.

Presently on tour in Australia – also for the first time – SikTh will return to Europe for a slew of shows before arriving in South Africa for a once-off appearance at the Krank’d Up 2018 Festival. Krank’d Up has developed into the country’s leading Metal and Hard Rock day-outing since first appearing on the annual calendar in 2013.

Krank’d Up: 29 September at Sundowners, Alberton

Now an established annual staple at Sundowners, South of Johannesburg city, Krank’d Up attracts thousands of visitors each year. Previous headliners include the likes of Norma Jean, Intervals, Memphis May Fire, Periphery, Monuments and others.
