2015 South African Tour Dates: Protest The Hero

Protest The Hero KLT

The Canadian progressive metal outfit, Protest The Hero, made a South African live debut in 2014 during a one-date performance at the Krank’d Up festival hosted by Turning Tricks Entertainment. A return visit was promised which would include a wider coverage of the country, and the band are set to tour South Africa over a few days spanning between 24 April and 02 May as follows:

24 April: Arcade Empire (Pretoria)
25 April: Sundowners (Alberton)
29 April: Rumours Lounge (Roodepoort)
02 May: Klein Libertas Theater (Stellenbosch)

We at metal4africa have teamed up with Turning Tricks Entertainment at the Stellenbosch show to offer Cape Town fans the possibility of a party bus (much like the ones we offer for our own SummerFest and WinterFest annual events at the same venue). With a stunning local line-up to support, including Zombies Ate My Girlfriend, Ill System, All Guns Full Ammo and OhGod!; plus a very reasonable ticket price of only R285 (including concert access AND two-way transport on the party bus), we’d like to see if the usual 60-seater bus cannot be filled to transport fans from all over and thus enabling a fun-filled night with low concern for traveling a long distance. Suggested pick-up points for the bus route include:

Parking lot at Blue Route Mall, Tokai
Parking lot outside Spar, Constantia
Anzio Road (alongside Snt. Peters Square), Observatory
Parking lot outside The Shack, Cape Town
Parking lot outside McDonalds, N1 City
Parking lot outside Starlight Diner, Bellville
Parking lot at Engen (on Okovango Drive, opposite Cape Gate Mall), Brackenfell

Times for departure and return will be revealed only once all pick-up points are confirmed as having passengers, but preliminary estimate is that passengers at the first point should be ready for departure by 17h00 on 02 May.

Any interested persons should immediately contact fiendarts (at) gmail.com for further booking information, or phone Patrick at 084 621 4913. This arrangement can only be formalized once a minimum of 30 passengers express interest, and this number before Friday 27 February.
