Asking Alexandria Coming To South Africa In May

Asking Alexandria

Following hot on the heels of Bring Me The Horizon who played two mammoth performances in South Africa last year, Asking Alexandria hail also from the UK and will be brought to South Africa by RAM Touring in May 2014. Whilst touring schedules could not allow for Asking Alexandria to appear at RAMfest 2014, the team at RAM Touring did not want to pass up the opportunity to have them visit as soon as possible. Two local dates are now set for 02 May in Stellenbosch at the Klein Libertas Theatre, nearby Cape Town, and 03 May at the Nazrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg. Local support at both shows will be provided by South Africa’s own and very complimentary Facing The Gallows.

Asking Alexandria have shot up to world acclaim, formed only in 2008 but already having three albums released on Sumerian Records label, plus having toured extensively.

In Cape Town, a venue change was recently announced by RAM Touring to better accommodate the show.

“We wanted to create a more intimate experience than would have been possible at the Hillcrest Quarry. Klein Libertas Theatre is actually the perfect setting for this scale of show, and we’ve managed to get it past the town council to still do it as an outdoor headbanging experience.” ~ Dawid Fourie (RAM Touring)

Tickets for Asking Alexandria can be purchased for either city at R350 via Plankton.mobi or for the Stellenbosch show, also directly from the RAM Touring offices during office hours. A maximum of 1500 tickets are available for each show.
