Bile Of Man, Maximum Carnage headed to Mozambique: Gorofest

Pretoria based metal bands Bile Of Man and Maximum Carnage are headed to Mozambique this weekend to appear at Gorofest in what promises to be a night of intense aural brutality! Maximum Carnage appeared in the city of Maputo earlier this year already, having performed at the first Gorofest event to host South African metal bands, alongside fellow Pretoria band Adorned In Ash and Mozambican locals Gothic (from the city of Beira) and Sarcotrofia (from the capital, Maputo).

The Gorofest event taking place on Saturday 06 December, labelled Big Gorofest, sports a more populated local line-up than the previous one, including alongside the two South African acts:

Damning Cloudiness (hard/metalcore)
Ovni (thrash/metalcore)
Scratch (afro heavy metal)
The Blinds (hard rock/grunge/post)
The Rhinos (punk/grunge)
Self Esteem (alternative/indie rick)
Dark Necropoly (death metal)

“Gorofest is a joint music festival, meaning everything connected with rock will be featured. In Mozambique we have many bands and each band is a different variation stemming from rock; which is why the festival brings all of them together, sharing the stage in order to give each the opportunity to show their potential to a more dynamic crowd” ~ Edgar Fast (festival promoter)

The event takes place at the Big Brother venue in Eduardo Mondlane Road, Maputo. See full details here.
