Cape Town: Bus Travel to Krank’d Up planned

Krank'd Up Festival 2015

The onslaught of amazing bands of the heavier ilk upon South Africa has all but run its course. Still reeling from Witchfest Urban Festival 2015 (feat. Cannibal Corpse, Epica, Septic Flesh, etc) in April which hosted a dozen top international extreme metal acts, and a stellar national tour by Canada’s Protest The Hero in May, South African metallers are bracing themselves for Aborted from Belgium (July) and Eluveitie (October) from Switzerland to still come. Turning Tricks Entertainment are doing their part to turn an already great 2015 into nothing short of a brilliant year for variety in world class metal acts visiting us.

The festival is already showing signs of being a highlight for the year with it’s facebook event page exploding into activity. Since the recent conclusion of their two international headliners for this year’s Krank’d Up music festival in Gauteng, Turning Tricks Entertainment have turned to www.metal4africa.com affiliate and No.1 True Believer Patrick Davidson to look into the possibility of operating a bus from Cape Town to Gauteng for the Krank’d Up festival date. Unfortunately, USA (Alaska) based 36 Crazyfists (Wikipedia page here) and UK based Monuments (Wikipedia page here) will both be appearing only on a single date at Krank’d Up in Gauteng on 26 September 2015. Capetonians and other Southern African fans, this is your chance! You are strongly urged to consider travel arrangements, as no other dates will be added for the 2015 tour.

Interested persons from Cape Town can contact Patrick Davidson via the True Believer facebook page inbox to discuss in further details. The offer on the table for Cape Town bus travelers includes:

R1,150.00 per seat

Some extra info on the bus.
The vehicle is a well-maintained Mercedes Benz Quantum class vehicle, with a trailer. It includes an on board entertainment system. The same vehicle and operator was used to great effect in transporting passengers from Cape Town to the recent Witchfest Urban Festival in Johannesburg.

Some extra info on the accommodation.
Turning Tricks Entertainment and the Sundowners venue have come together to sponsor a small camping area for bus travelers, free of charge. It will be enclosed in fencing, monitored by 24-hour security, and include an ablution facility. Regretfully, no shower. The bus trailer will offer enough space for travelers to bring along tents and basic camping gear (blanket, pillow, inflatable mattress), which will have to be self-provided.
