Rockers from Switzerland, Restock, have just completed a string of shows in Gauteng with a final appearance at Witchfest. This weekend, they will appear at two shows in Cape Town before returning to Europe.
The band present a style which would be familiar to all as a forerunner of heavy metal as we know it today. Their sound is hard rock / metal with a truly vintage spin, more akin to the likes of Led Zepplin and other classics from that era, capturing a strong sense of nostalgia.
Their two Cape Town shows will include:
Friday 10 April at the Hells Angles Bikers Clubhouse. The band will be doing an earlier set, beginning at 20h00 and will be the only band performing for the evening. Entry is free of charge at 221 Kings Road, Brooklyn.
Saturday 11 April at Mercury Live. Restock will be supported by local metallers Bulletscript, with doors opening at 21h00. Price is unknown to us, but we expect that there will be a reasonable cover charge.
