Three SA bands: international split release

Astral Evisceration on All Hallows Eve

This coming Halloween marks a special milestone for three South African bands as they participate in an internationally cooperative album release. Vulvodynia, The Overmind, and Become The Watcher – all three from the city of Durban – will be featured on the Astral Evisceration on All Hallows Eve compilation album, to be released on 31 October 2015 as hardcopy via Brutal Gear, and as cassette via Chugcore. Pre-orders have been opened since Friday 23 October.

The split includes bands from a diverse geography spanning four continents with not only the three South African bands, but also: Cunt Cuntly, Despondent, and Existence Has Failed from the USA; Before The Harvest from Australia, and; Chamber Of Malice from Germany. All of the bands featured have submitted newly created songs, or reworked songs, to include the Halloween theme. We were informed that orders can also be placed via the participating bands:

“There will be limited copies available in South Africa. Fans can get hold of them through the bands facebook pages, and if there is enough interest, we can put in an order for more” ~ Jethro May (guitars, The Overmind)

The album’s suitably grizzly cover artwork was created by Indonesian artist, Raymond Art. The release will also be available digitally via bandcamp. For more updates and information, follow and contact any of the participating South African bands listed below.
