Treehouse Burning: new ‘Seven’ single out now

Treehouse Burning 2018 Seven

Cape Town, South Africa: metalcore band, Treehouse Burning, released ‘Seven’ today. ‘Seven’ is the first new music since the band’s debut EP Overdose dropped last year and features USA guest vocalist, Cristian Grey. To date, Treehouse Burning has only one live appearance to it’s name, but will be hitting the stage soon again in Cape Town; with ‘Seven’ serving as the perfect warm-up.

Seven (feat. Christian Grey)

Christian Grey fronts the Minnesota-based Villain Of The Story; also from the Metalcore fraternity. We investigated this partnership in closer detail:

“I’ve been listen to Villain Of The Story for years, and as the song started coming together me and the guys started talking about features. Christian stood out as the obvious choice. I popped him a message and he loved the track! He did some of his own cool production tricks on his vocal parts as well!” ~ Jesse Kuhn (guitar, Treehouse Burning)

Furthermore, Jesse tells us that Christian also contributed a little of his own production savvy to bring life to the track. The final work, however, sits beneath the fingertips of Indiana-based Chris Foster; well known for his work on releases from bands such as: Sworn In; Counterparts; Slaughter To Prevail, and; Acrania. Treehouse Burning is committed to working with Chris on all new material for the upcoming collection. It may or may not be a full length album.

“We’re about three or four songs into a new release, but no definite plans as to what this will be yet.” ~ Jesse Kuhn

Treehouse Burning return to the live stage

The stage is set for Treehouse Burning to perform its second ever live show on 19 May at ROAR. The band’s first appearance was a well-received debut at M4A‘s SummerFest’18 in January.

“We’ll be playing a completely different set to the one at M4A! The whole set has been rearranged and a couple of new tracks have been added as well. Our goal in the live setting is to never play the same set twice, but to always have small changes and additions with each show we play.” ~ Jesse Kuhn

Treehouse Burning will be joined by Megalodon, The Alpha Sequence and Blood Ret. For full event details, visit the official facebook event page.
