Johannesburg, South Africa: the SAMMA is well underway, recognizing the achievements of local metal acts in the country throughout the year of 2018. The celebration is fast approaching, with the culmination being a prize ceremony at Rumours Lounge on 23 November.
And the recent public poll was a great success with well over 700 participants. The aim of this phase is to reduce the nominations in each category to a list of just five. This goes back to the panelists for a final assessment whereby one will be awarded as the top achiever for the year; and we’ll all have to hold on tight until the results arrive on 23 November.
