More about Skinflint
Skinflint has performed in South Africa crossing the border from neighbouring home country of Botswana on occasion. The latest visit was in 2017 when Skinflint appeared at M4A‘s own WinterFest’17 festival in Cape Town. In addition to that, the band is no stranger to international touring, having already toured Europe as support for Tarja Turunen, also in 2017.
The band is known and celebrated for its unique take on the Heavy Metal genre; incorporating African rhythms, as well as folklore into its lyrical identity, Skinflint echoes the pride of its African homeland. There are several albums released to date, all of which can be accessed via Skinflint‘s own website. The latest album, self-titled Skinflint, released earlier this year in June.
